Ingredients(2 Loafs for 14 )


All-Purpose Flour
2 Cups
Baking Soda
2 Teaspoon
Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon
Salt
1 Teaspoon
Cinnamon Powder
1 or 2 Teaspoon
Margarine
1 Cup
Sugar
1 - 1 1/2 Cup
Vanilla Extract (optional)
1/2 - 1 Teaspoon
Egg

Mashed Banana
2 Cups (4-5 Bananas)
Chopped Walnuts
1 Cup
8 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 3" Loaf Pan

Preparation


1.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2.
Mash 4 to 5 bananas in a bowl.
3.
Put all dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon powder in a bowl and mix.

Beat softened margarine and sugar. Then add eggs. Beat until the mixture is very smooth. *Add vanilla extract if desired

Add the #3 dry ingredients to #4 mixture (margarine, sugar and eggs) and mix well.
6.
Add mashed bananas to mixture and beat well. Then stir in chopped walnuts.
7.
Pour mixture into 2 greased loaf pans. Put in oven and bake for 50 to 55 minutes. (Insert toothpick and check.)
8.
Leave the loafs out until they cool down. Then put in the refrigerator for minimum 2 hours before serving.

(1) Add raisins and pecan nuts if you like rich flavor.
(2) Replace white sugar with brown sugar if on a diet.
(3) You can use any standard loaf pan.
(4) Good served warm or chilled.
(5) Good with whipped cream.
