Spare Ribs
500g
Chili

Garlic
4 cloves
Soy Sauce
2 tbsp
Shaoxing Wine
10ml
Fermented Black Soybeans
1 tbsp
Spring Onion

Oyster Sauce
1/2 tbsp
Pepper
a little
Potato Starch

Preparation


1.
Wash spare ribs. Slices chili, mince garlic, chunk the white part of spring onion and chop the green part of spring onion.

Mix the seasoning (soy sauce, shaoxing wine, oyster sauce, pepper and potato starch) with spare ribs well and marinate it for 15 minutes. Blend it twice when marinating to let the flavor penetrate through.

Put marinated spare ribs into a plate, and put the cropped chili, garlic, white part of spring onion and fermented black soybeans on the spare ribs. Put into a poacher and steam for 20 minutes.
4.
Remove the white part of spring onion after 20 minutes steam, and put the green part of spring onion on the spare ribs. Done.

Takes longer time in marinated step if you had time.
After spare ribs steamed for 20 minutes, turn off the heat and leave it to rest in the poacher for few minutes.
